What's better than having five women being leads on a South African reality show chronicling the fruits of hard labour and a strong drive? It's six women!

The Real Housewives of Johannesburg season premiere left fans delighted and stunned by the Evodia and her daughter Mercy Mogase, Brinnette, Lendy, Christall and Naledi's enviable lives. The sheer opulence of their lavish, upper echelon lives left social viewers revisiting their bucket lists. If you want to get here, there's plenty of work still need to be done.

While the show centres on showcasing the sparkle in these women's lives, their massive wardrobe, mansions and luxury cars, the girls have already started throwing hints that hard work does go a long way in helping you to achieve your dreams.

A pack of strong women who each never back down from expressing their opinions, the Housewives of Johannesburg truly embody the essence of badass.

Christall Kay kicked off the first episode giving us bits of wisdom on how she converted some fortune from an ex into sustainable wealth through good investments and making bold moves. So now, when she wants a dress, she gets the dress. "It's my money", she said to her hubby after he joked she doesn't need any extra one in the closet. "I don't need you counting my pennies for me."

In addition to raising a family, Lendy runs her own successful business. She's won some of the most prestigious pageants in her early twenties, before transitioning into her role as a mother and businesswoman. You are welcome to draw parallels between her and Brinnette, who runs her own beauty business.

We love ourselves a Queen who knows she slays, and Evodia is all about that and so much more! She had standards and she wants them maintained. Naledi is a Qualified international chef who is currently furthering her studies.

Happy Women's Month Day to the ladies!

The Real Housewives of Johannesburg airs Fridays at 19:00 on 1Magic
